1.Design Challenge:- Task
Design and make a fast, light wireless remote controlled aircraft (using electric motors only), which can manoeuver around one of several possible paths and deliver the maximum payload including pitch and roll (yaw is optional) in the least possible time, before landing in the specified zone gathering maximum possible points in the process.Cash Prize- 40000 INR
2.Flying Challenge:-Task
The competition requires the participant to perform a set of manoeuvres from amongst the ones given in the table below.
Also listed are the maximum points each one of them hold. The participant will be awarded points against the set maximum on the basis of the smoothness and accuracy of the manoeuvres performed.
The participants will then have to do spot landing i.e. land the plane in a defined area after completing the manoeuvres.
The maximum time given to each participant (i.e. for engine warm-up, takeoff, manoeuvring and spot landing) is 5 minutes.
Points will be deducted for crossing this limit and maneuvers performed or spot landing done after 5 minutes will not be given points.
Cash Prize- 15000 INR
Deadlines: Abstract submission for teams requiring accommodation: 15th November, 2012
Abstract submission for other teams: 25th November, 2012.
